WIGTON BOWLING CLUB

Welcome to the web site of Wigton Bowling Club.

We are a friendly and enthusiastic club that offers bowls for both ladies and men being either casual play through to competing nationally, including mixed matches and competitions.

We offer excellent coaching to new bowlers and encourage everyone to participate in the club's social activities.

Our club caters for all standards of bowlers and we are always keen to meet prospective new members. For all our contact details please see the link at the top of the page.

Alternatively visit us at our green, we have ample parking and our members will be happy to answer any questions.

We are keen to add to our current fixtures, so any clubs or County Associations who are planning to tour Cumbria and would like to play at our club please get in contact. We can meet most requirements from tea and scones to a full meal and live entertainment.

Local clubs looking for a friendly match would also be very welcome to contact us, as we would like to increase the number of annual friendly matches that we currently have.

We are not just a ‘bowling club’ but have many other activities going on throughout the bowling season and through the winter months. These include short mat bowls, ladies darts, Keep Fit, Slimming World Classes and Taekwondo and we hope to add more activities like this to our forthcoming itinerary. We also have a Function Room that is available for birthday parties, christenings, charity events etc. Check out our other activities page for more details.
